Hello to everyone who speaks and understands English (i.e. most of the world), or simply hello world!
We are so happy to bring YCleaner to the world!
We are sorry that our website is not yet fully translated and we will work on that quickly and fix that in 2025. For today, we'll tell you about the features of YCleaner's update 6.6.3, which is also available to you!
First of all, let's talk about the essential background changes;
We opened our first server! Yay!
Yes, this is common for many big companies, but it's new for us. And we're very proud of ourselves.
You are proud of us too, right? RIGHT?
So why did we open this server? When the fuck did we open this server?
These are all good questions and we'll get into the details below.
Back to YCleaner;
+We have added Analytics and Diagnostic Data.
Yes, in our Privacy Policy, which we have added to our site in the past weeks, we say “Personal data is PERSONAL. We do not collect data in any version, including the free version of the program. This includes analysis data”. But we learned that we need this analysis data (Yes, we continue to learn as we develop the program).
After all, 99.9% of the world's software companies don't collect it for nothing 🤷♂️
So what does this data cover and why did we start collecting it?
First of all, the data we collect: User name, computer name, IP address, time and date the program was opened, Windows version, where Windows is installed and processor information.
(We have to say that it is not legally limited 🤷♂️)
We collect this data for a very simple reason: To improve and fix YCleaner faster. By faster, we mean understanding how our users use the program and how they use it so that we can focus on those parts of the program. That way, we'll strive to bring more features to the parts of the program you use the most. As for fixing it, it is clear that we are not the best developers in the world or even in Turkey. Our code is not perfect. One way or another, bugs happen, and understanding how these bugs happen on which system will help us fix them faster.
But there is an important point to understand here. There is no program crash data among the data we collect. We could do that, but the data we collect will increase a lot more and it will be a burden on your internet and our server 😕 So if you encounter an error, you can contact us via e-mail and let us resolve this error.
The last thing about data is where and how we store your data. All data is automatically collected as soon as YCleaner is launched and sent to YagiSoft's servers in Istanbul. During this transmission, all data is encrypted using a minimum of TLS 1.2. This way, no one can see your data while it is being transmitted to us.
The data we collect is stored encrypted on our server in Istanbul. No one can see this data, including our Internet Hosting Service (IHS) company. Only YagiSoft members can review this data. Absolutely no personal files (text documents, photos, videos, etc.) are included in this data. It would be unreasonable for us to do so anyway.
One last footnote: YCleaner Pro owners can completely turn off the sending of this data. The data is sent on the first startup after the program is installed, and users who turn this setting off will not have their data sent after that.
+Added Minimize to System Tray.
YCleaner is a program that learns as it works. Just like a high school student.
That's why when you press the minimize button, the program automatically minimizes to the system tray. We already added this in version 6.6. With this update, the program will still minimize to the system tray when you press the close button. In this way, it will continue to learn.
+Save settings has been added.
Before this update YCleaner was a bit fishy. You could set the settings to your liking and then the program would forget them when you closed and opened the program. With this update we have installed a brand new MEMORY 3.0 module. So it won't forget your settings anymore.
+Update lock added.
As mentioned above, we are not perfect developers. For this reason, it is possible for YCleaner to have bugs. These bugs can range from minor interface bugs to bugs that can crash the program or security vulnerabilities. For this reason, it is very important that you update the program.
That's why from this release onwards, when a new update comes to YCleaner, it will put itself in a locked box and won't want to work like a tripped girlfriend until you install the update.
+The interface has been updated.
Added English support! Yay!
+The Dark Mode button has been updated.
Who's going to go to settings and open it from there, right? Instead of opening it from the home page... Tsk, tsk, tsk.
And that's it! See you in the next update!
Also, here is our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for you guys out there that doesn't know Turkish:
